Gigi Edgley as Chiana from Farscape and Lady Gaga in her video "Pokerface". Am I only one to see rather interesting similiarities in both appearance and character?

You are definitely not the only one! Gaga even has a caricature Chiana hair wig on one of her covers. Can't blame Gaga there if it's intentional, I also thought a lot more should have been done with Chi, a distinctive character.

Well I bet GaGa herself and Haus of GaGa behind her hoards so many fashion concepts that it's impossible to know how intentional it is. However it works, and that's what matters. The way I see the evolution of this specific style is Pris (from Blade Runner) to Chiana to GaGa.
It's sad Farscape become so gloomy in the last seasons. It's true they left so much of Chi's potential unused.

Yep, we humble dwellers of pop culture are indeed in the mercy of businessmen and stockholders.

You are not the only one! To be honest (in a joking sense), I thought Lady Gaga was being a little Gigi ;)

LOVE THIS!

Perhaps we can forgive her as she seems to "steal" masses of pop culture ideas and mix them into new ones so that the result is more than the sum of it's parts. Same sort of work that Quentin Tarantino excels in.

Thank you very much. Your comment actually gave some sort of kickstart for my dragging inspiration. Now I might actually be able to finish my next pieces.
